titleAdd NARFs

***Before adding a new hire, please make sure their HR paperwork has been processed and they have a completed entry in HRS. Their accounts will not exist prior to the completion of this.  HR will CC the supervisor on the "Welcome to UW-Oshkosh Student Employment" email for the student employee.

  1. Open https://portal.housing.uwosh.edu/Narf2/Home

  2. Select Submit NARF.

  3. Keep Add New Job selected and click Next.

  4. Select their position (if applicable select the Hall/s they will be working in).

  5. Put the Effective Date as the day they will start in their position.

  6. Enter their campus ID.

  7. Click the + Add button. 

    • Note: if they are currently in a position you will receive a prompt to delete it, only do so if they are no longer in this position.

  8. Repeat steps 4-7 for all NARFs you would like to enter.

  9. Click Next

  10. Review the permissions and select Submit (you may need to scroll).
