Oracle BI Publisher - Installation from Software Center

  1. Open Software Center.

  2. Select Oracle BI Publisher from Applications.

  3. Click install.

  4. Once the installation is completed open the Start Menu. At the top, under Recently Added, you should see Enable or Disable Template Builder. Double click it.

  5. Once the windows pops up, click Button 1 on the left two times.

  6. Open Microsoft Word and Oracle BI Publisher should be in the ribbon. 

This is required because installation from Software Center does not install an application as a specific user so the add-on must be enabled for the user who would like to utilize it in Microsoft Word.
