Collaborations not able to access Google Drive or Apps - Canvas

Remove Canvas permissions from Google Drive and re-establish the connection

  1. Sign out of all Google accounts including any personal or departmental email accounts.

  2. Sign in to your UW Oshkosh Gmail/Google account at  http://google.com

  3. Navigate to your Google Account by clicking on your Photo or initial in the upper right corner

  4. Navigate to Security on the left side of the screen

  5. Scroll down to "Third-party apps with account access"

  6. Click on 'Manage Third-Party Access"

  7. Remove access for any listed as 'Canvas' or 'Google Drive LTI by Canvas'

  8. Sign out of your Google account.

  9. Repeat for any Google account with possible Canvas access

Clear the Google token from your Canvas account

If you are logged in to any Google account, please log out of the account at this time.

  1. Sign into your Canvas account at http://canvas.uwosh.edu

  2. Go to Account from the global navigation menu.

  3. Click on settings.

  4. Under" "Approved Integrations", click on the trash can icon and delete any app titled "Google Drive LTI IAD-Prod"

  5. Now try to access a file in the Collaboration section, when asked, enter you UW Oshkosh Google/Gmail account details and this should allow you to view the files.
