Using One-time Password Code (OTP) with Microsoft Authenticator

If you do not have cell or wireless service on your Authenticator device, you can still utilize OTP to access your account.

1. Navigate to portal.office.com on the device you are trying to access your university web access on.

2. Enter your UW-Oshkosh NetID email address and password when prompted.

3. When presented with the MFA prompt, select I can’t use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now

4. Now choose Use verification code

5. Launch the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device and tap your account.

6. Locate the one-time password code

   Open

7. Enter that code into the prompt on your browser and click Verify.
