UW-Oshkosh Door Access Management
The purpose of this document is to serve as a guide of who on campus manages access and where responsibilities lie.
There are currently five departments on campus that manage door access in some capacity. Those are:
Residence Life
Scheduling doors in Residence Life buildings during special events and normal residence life operations
Information Technology
Implementing and managing data integrations to automate access where possible
Granting access for staff, faculty, students, and affiliates
Creation of new access levels, doors, and buildings
Troubleshoot TitanCard provisioning
Reeve Union and Titan Central
Creation and management of food vendor contractor user accounts and iClass TitanCards in the Security Expert door access system
Building scheduling for Blackhawk and Reeve
Printing of Titan Cards (Reeve Union)
Facilities Management
Scheduling of doors in academic buildings
Access management for FM staff
University Police Department
Manage access to Police building (currently Lincoln Hall)
Check buildings to ensure that they are properly locked after hours
Respond to incidents that involve a breach of door security
