ArcGIS Pro - Authenticating to Licensing Portal

The ArcGIS Pro licensing portal authenticates through via Azure SSO using a user’s NetID / Office365 credentials. Once the application is installed, please attempt the following to obtain a license:

  1. Launch ArcGIS Pro.

  2. Click “Sign In Using Browser”

  3. Click “yes”

  4. In the browser, click the blue button to authenticate to “University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh” with valid credentials.

  5. Once successfully authenticated, click Open (optional: check box to “Always allow…”). You will be automatically redirected back to the ArcGIS Pro application.

If a license cannot be obtained successfully, please ensure the user attempting to authenticate is a member of the “ESRI ArcGIS Portal Staff” group or is actively taking a GIS course to automatically enroll them into the group “ESRI ArcGIS Portal Students”.
