Hand Raise
Hand Raise allows students to “raise their hand” by issuing alerts on themselves, using the Navigate360 Student app on desktop or mobile.
Instructions
When students use Hand Raise, they go to one of two places. First, they can access Hand Raise from the Quick Add menu on desktop or Quick Actions in the new mobile experience.
The student then clicks Hand Raise (or Request Assistance). A Hand Raise pop-up appears.
The student will select a reason, if the reason is associated with a specific class, and any additional comments before clicking Submit to issue the alert. Note that the classes shown in the dropdown are the classes the student is currently enrolled in. If they are not enrolled in any classes, the dropdown will be empty.
Once the student has raised their hand, the alert appears in the My Docs section of Navigate360 Student.
The information contained in the doc is the time and date, Alert Reason, course (if selected), and comments (if entered).
A hand raise initiates a specific action linked to the reason for raising your hand. This could involve a staff member reaching out to you directly, or you may receive an automated message containing all relevant resources.
