Note: This technique works up to 6 months after the term end date. If you need to extend the course end date past 6 months please contact the HelpDesk x3020. They will need your course name and number.
Login to Canvas
Select your course from your Dashboard
Select "Settings > Course Details (Tab)"
Give a new end date (cannot extend past 6 months of the term end date)
Check the box for "Students can only participate in the course between these dates"
Save
