Extend access to a course past the term date

Note: This technique works up to 6 months after the term end date. If you need to extend the course end date past 6 months please contact the Service Desk x3020. They will need your course name and number.

1. Login to Canvas

2. Select your course from your Dashboard

3. Select "Settings > Course Details (Tab)"

4. Give a new end date (cannot extend past 6 months of the term end date)

5. Check the box for "Students can only participate in the course between these dates"

6. Save

   Open
