How to Share a Screen During a Zoom Session

The default mode for screen sharing is only enabled for the host

As a host

Click on the Green Share Screen Icon located in the center of the meeting controls 

  • Select the Screen to share from the window, it will be highlighted blue, then click share

  • If sharing a video clip make sure to select the options in the lower left corner for Share Sound & Optimize for video clip

  • The meeting controls will change and will display "You are screen sharing"

  • To Select a new screen to share press the "New Share" icon

  • To stop sharing press the "Stop Share" icon

Enable screen sharing for participants

  • Click on the drop down arrow in the "Share Screen" icon and choose advanced sharing options

 

  • Under "Who can share" select "All participants" to enable sharing 

 

**To prevent multiple participants from sharing screens at the same time keep the default settings for the other options.**
