Desktops - Wireless Capability (University-Owned)

Windows

  1. If you are currently connected with an ethernet cable, in the lower right hand corner on the taskbar, you should see an icon that looks like a computer.

  2. Click on that icon.

    • If you see wireless networks pop up, your computer is capable of connecting via wireless.

    • If you don't see wireless networks pop up, but you see that wireless is turned off, turn that on. Then your computer is capable of connecting via wireless.

Mac

All Apple desktops (iMacs and Mac Minis) that are supported by UWO IT have wireless capabilities.
