Windows Desktop

Install Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN Client from Software Center. This will need to be done BEFORE you leave. If this is not completed before taking your computer off campus you will need to bring it back to campus to install the application. Updates and Software installation require a VPN connection to campus to complete.

Windows Laptop

Make sure Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN Client is installed. This will need to be done BEFORE you leave. If this is not completed before taking your computer off campus you will need to bring it back to campus to install the application. Updates and Software installation require a VPN connection to campus to complete.

Mac Desktop

Contact the Help Desk to have them put in a ticket to set up your computer with a mobile account. You will need to provide the UWO ID tag number of your computer. Wait until you hear from IT regarding the computer before taking it off campus as there will be further instructions you need to follow.  Managed Software Center works off campus so you will be able to install the VPN client and other applications once you are home.
