Halsey Science Center - Room Directory

Halsey General Access Classrooms

Projection Issues 

Computer

  1. Verify projector is turned on

  2. Verify computer is turned on

  3. Verify the correct source is selected on Media Tower control panel

  4. Verify VGA/hdmi cable is connected to adapter and adapter is connected to computer

Document Camera

  1. Verify projector is turned on

  2. Verify document camera is turned on

  3. Verify the correct source is selected on Media Tower control panel

  4. Verify VGA/hdmi cable is connected to port labeled VGA/hdmi OUT on back of document camera

VHS/DVD

  1. Verify projector is turned on

  2. Verify Media Tower is turned on

  3. Verify the correct source is selected on Media Tower control panel

Laptop

  1. Verify projector is turned on

  2. Verify computer is turned on

  3. Verify the correct source is selected on Media Tower control power

  4. Verify laptop is connected to system using room laptop cable

  5. Verify laptop set to mirror or duplicate displays

Audio Issues

Computer

  1. Verify Media tower turned on

  2. Verify correct source selected on control panel on Media Tower

  3. Verify audio cable connected to computer.

  4. Disconnect & reconnect hdmi adapter from back of computer

  5. Verify audio not muted on computer

  6. Verify amp turned on

  7. Turn volume control located on the Media tower control panel to the right

Laptop

  1. Verify Media tower turned on

  2. Verify correct source selected on control panel on Media Tower

  3. Verify audio cable connected to computer

  4. Verify audio not muted on computer

  5. Verify amp turned on

  6. Turn volume control located on the Media tower control panel to the right

DVD/VHS

  1. Verify Media tower turned on

  2. Verify correct source selected on control panel on Media Tower

  3. Verify amp turned on

  4. Turn volume control located on the Media tower control panel to the right
