Calendar Sync Issue

These instructions can be used if your Navigate calendar sync is not working or if you are seeing an error.

Example Errors:

There are two options that can fix the calendar sync issue:

Option 1:  Retry Sync (This can be tried first. If option 1 fails then you will need to proceed with option 2).

Option 2:  Disconnect Sync and Setup Sync (this is a two step process).

 

 Instructions

Option 1:  Retry Sync

  1. Click on the calendar icon in Navigate.

  2. Click on Settings and Sync towards the top right side of the window.

  3. Click Retry Sync...

  4. If this is not successful you will need to proceed with the steps below to disconnect sync and setup sync.

Option 2:  Disconnect Sync and Setup Sync

This is a two step process:

Step 1:  Disconnect Sync

Step 2:  Setup Sync

Step 1:  Disconnect Sync

  1. Click on the calendar icon in the navigate.

  2. Click on Settings and Sync towards the top right side of the window.

  3. Click on Disconnect Sync...

  4. A message will show asking you to confirm the disconnect. It shows it may take 30 minutes for the disconnect.

Be sure that all synced appointments have been removed from the Navigate Calendar before you move on to Step 2: “Setup Sync”. Follow the steps below to check if your appointments are removed.

Check that all appointments have been removed from your calendar

  1. Click on the calendar icon in the toolbar.

  1. Review your Navigate calendar to be sure all appointments have been removed before moving on to Step 2: Setup Sync.

Step 2: Setup Sync

  1. Click on the calendar icon in the navigate.

  2. Click on Settings and Sync towards the top right side of the window.

  3. Click on Setup Sync...

  4. Click on Microsoft Office 365 (latest version).

  5. Select your uwosh.edu account to login or login with your uwosh.edu email if prompted with the full login screen.

  6. A window will show letting you know that the sync may take up to 30 minutes.  Let the sync run!

  7. You will see a message when the sync has completed and you can also click on your calendar icon in the toolbar to verify it has synced your calendar to Navigate successfully.
