Campaigns
What is a Campaign
A campaign is a way to reach out to a designated population of students for a specific purpose.
Considerations for Using Campaigns
Recommendations from EAB:
How would you like to impact your students with this campaign?
What student populations do you envision this would be used for?
If a student does not respond, when is an appropriate time to resend invitation, send email, or text?
Why use a Campaign
To target a specific population of students.
When you need to easily track who has and hasn't made an appointment (used with appointment campaigns).
When you need to easily follow-up with those who haven't made an appointment (used with appointment campaigns).
Campaign Types
Appointment Campaign
Use to reach out to a specific population of students that you would like to schedule appointments with.
Messaging Campaign
Use to email or text a group of students on a specified date(s) about certain things they may need to do or attend.
Survey Campaign
Use to send out surveys to a specific population of students.
Track their progress in answering the survey.
Who Can Launch Campaigns
Staff who have been granted access to campaigns will see a campaigns icon in navigation (at the left).
The campaign types you see once you click the campaigns icon are based on your permissions.
Campaign Setup (for Appointment or Survey Campaigns)
If you are creating an appointment campaign or survey campaign you must complete the steps below before creating the campaign.
Appointment Campaign Setup
You and/or others who you will be taking appointments via the campaign must setup campaign availability before launching an appointment campaign (see Availability for instructions on how to setup availability).
Be sure to select the Campaigns option “for what type of availability is this” when creating your availability.
Survey Campaign Setup
A survey must be created in the content administration tool (CAT) before you will be able to send it out via a survey campaign.
It is a good practice to designate an individual person in your office that will be creating the surveys for your area.
