Post Student Grades at the Same Time - Canvas

You will need to set this up in each of your courses.

Setup a Manual Grade Posting Policy

  1. Login to Canvas

  2. Select your Course

  3. Choose the "Grades" tool

  4. On the far right select the settings for your grade book (Gear icon)

  5. Select the "Grade Posting Policy" tab

  6. Select "Manually Post Grades"

  7. Select the Update button

Grading Your Students

In the grade book when you start grading your students you will see an eyeball icon that will appear next to the header title. This is an indicator that your students cannot see the grade you have given them. When your ready for them to see the grades you will "Post" the grades.

Posting Grades

  1. Go to your gradebook

  2. Hover over the header title of the assignment you want to post

  3. Select the Kabob (three dot menu) to the right of the title

  4. Select "Post Grades"

  5. You will  be asked if you want to post them for everyone or only those that have been graded
