Videoconferencing and Lecture Capture Tools
There are multiple ways to meet synchronously with students online and/or to record lectures that can be shared in Canvas. Features overlap but there are pros/cons for using each.
Zoom allows for student participation through video conferencing, including instructor controls and screen sharing.
Kaltura Capture has screen sharing and lecture capture without video conferencing.
PowerPoint presentations can be saved as videos with recorded audio. It is easy to edit audio on just one slide and re-record.
MSTeams was developed for office use but can now be integrated in Canvas too.
